Khanduri promises to bring a new culture of dedication & devotion to duty in politics

His tenure as Minister of Road Transport (MoRT) was marked by pathbreaking initiatives such as ‘Pradhan- Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna’ and ‘Golden Quadrilateral’ projects that provided a fresh lease of life to the crumbling infrastructure of India. His ‘No-Nonsense’ attitude towards work and his dedication to duty has won him admirers across the party line. Being an engineer, he made it a routine to monitor the technical details of the project. His militarized zeal and piercing eyes were enough to put even the good-fornothing bureaucrats on the trot.

Th e effi cacy with which he has performed his job at the Ministry has made him an inspiring public figure. Khanduri has also tended his constituency with great care, initiating several projects for the otherwise neglected Grahwal region.

Carry bribes if you’re sick..

Even the private participation for additional beds is not sufficient (even after its 13% annual growth). The Maninder Acharya Committee found that out of the 26 hospitals that it visited, 23 had not admitted a single poor patient. WHO suggests that India has to add 80,000 beds every year to meet its deficiencies. Would India be able to match up to this ask? That’s just a ‘bed’time story...
